The Giving Tree Raises Over $8000 for Feed Nova Scotia
On December 19, our Middle School students helped load thirty boxes of non-perishable food items onto the truck for Feed Nova Scotia and Prep School students packed up the winter clothing we collected with the help of the Grammar Community for the Giving Tree Campaign!
Altruism co-ordinator Mr. Whynot dropped off the clothing items collected at Brunswick Street Mission, where they were received by Mrs. Margaret Casey, volunteer at Brunswick St and grandmother of two of our Grammar students.
Thank you to everyone in our community who supported this fundraiser and to alumni parent Gordon Stirrett from Gordon Stirrett Wealth Management for matching our donations. Together we raised over $8000 for Feed Nova Scotia! We are so proud of the Altruistic Spirit in our community.
