After School Program
The After School Program (ASP) is available to all students of the Halifax Grammar School, from Junior Primary to Grade 7, throughout the academic year. This program is offered on school days only and is directed by qualified personnel.
Please be aware that the program will not be available on days when the school is closed. For a list of specific closure dates, please refer to the school calendar within "MyGrammar".

Junior Primary: 3:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Grades Primary to Grade 7: 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Annual Fee for 2025-2026:
All costs will be billed to your Grammar incidentals account.

Full-time: $2,870/five days/week, annually
Part-time: $ 600/per day of the week, annually
Program Activities:
The program offers a variety of activities, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, informal indoor play, and storytime. Additionally, homework time will be provided for students in older grades.
Behavioral Expectations:
All students in the program must follow the behavior expectations outlined in the Halifax Grammar School Student/Parent Handbook. Students who do not meet these expectations may be removed from the program.
Commitment:
Children may be enrolled in the program on a full-time or part-time basis, although priority is given to full-time students. Once registered, you will receive confirmation of your spot and by confirming your registration, you commit to holding that space for the full academic year.

We do not offer a drop-in service. All ASP spaces must be arranged in advance.

Registration Deadline: June 30, 2025
To hold your space:
Families interested in registering for the program are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100.00/per child.
This fee can be paid by online banking via your child's incidental account.
