On Monday, April 28,  Geography 1 students will conduct a gentrification fieldwork activity on Agricola Street and the surrounding neighbourhood.  We are gathering data for the following question: To what extent has Agricola Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and its surrounding area, been gentrified?

I will meet students on the northeast corner of the Halifax Commons (across from the Halifax Armoury) at 9:45 AM sharp.  Students are responsible for their own travel to and from the meeting spot.  They will be dismissed from their 1st-period class at 9:15 AM to ensure plenty of time to walk, bike or take the bus to the meeting spot across from the Armoury. Students will also be dismissed from this same meeting spot.

Students need to dress for the weather and they are permitted to leave their school bags at Grammar while on this field trip.

Regards.
Ms. Brock
